Data we collect

When a provider applies or claims a profile, we receive the submitted business, contact and verification information. When a visitor requests help, we receive their name, contact details, requested service and message. We may also process basic technical records needed to secure and operate the website.

Why we use it

We use this information to assess listings and service requests, verify authority to represent a business, prevent fraud, communicate about a submission and maintain the directory.

Sharing service requests

We review help requests before forwarding. With the requester’s consent, relevant request details may be offered to one exclusive provider or a limited number of suitable providers. Personal contact details remain hidden until access is authorised and, where applicable, paid for. We do not publish request details in the directory.

Commercial measurement

We record partner-link clicks, lead-offer status and commercial totals needed to operate and improve the service. Partner click records do not contain the visitor’s name, email address or IP address.

eBay Partner Network

Services Global participates in the eBay Partner Network. Links marked as advertisements or partner links contain an eBay campaign identifier and a non-personal reference that describes the service, country, product category and link position. We may earn a commission when a visitor follows such a link and completes a qualifying purchase.

We do not embed eBay product tracking scripts on our pages. After you choose an eBay link, eBay and its service providers may process the referral parameters and use cookies or similar technology on eBay’s website to attribute a transaction. eBay controls that processing under its own privacy and cookie notices.

Publication

Approved public listings show business information and the provider website. Personal contact details are not published unless they are clearly supplied as public business contact information and publication is necessary for the listing.

Retention and security

Submission, lead and review records are retained while needed for directory operation, dispute handling and legal obligations. Access to review queues is restricted. Data is removed or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably required.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct or remove personal data associated with you. You may also object to or request restriction of certain processing. Affiliate links are optional and the directory remains usable without following them. You can manage cookies through your browser and through the controls provided on the destination website. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Processors and international access

Hosting and infrastructure providers process data only to operate the service. Because this is a worldwide directory, public business information can be viewed internationally and an approved request may be shared with a provider in another country.
